Contributions

Contributions can be submitted in English or German. Within a symposium, the language should be consistent. To ensure that English-speaking scientists can also participate in the conference, we expressly encourage you to offer your contributions in English. If necessary, we will therefore inquire ask authors whether a lecture can also be held in English.

Talk

About 15 to 20 minutes (including discussion) // Content: Completed empirical research // Length of the submitted abstract: up to 200 words.

Poster

Format: DIN-A0, upright // Content: Completed empirical research. Posters are more suitable for the discussion of details of a project than talks because of the unavoidable temporal restriction in the case of talks. During the poster presentation, no parallel events will take place // Length of the submitted abstract: up to 200 words. When submitting your poster via our submission system, you can optionally apply for the »blitz talks« session of the conference by activating the corresponding check box.

Symposium

Includes 4 to 5 talks and a final discussion on a specific topic during a 90 minutes session (e.g., 5 x 15 minutes + final discussion). The invitation of the speakers and the compilation of the contributions is handled by the initiator. The initiator is responsible for the registration of the symposium, collects the abtracts (max. 200 words) and manages their submission. The initiator also moderates the symposium.

In order to register a symposium, the initiator of the symposium must first enter a title and an abstract (max. 200 words) on the topic of the symposium and then insert the individual papers of the symposium into the ConfTool-System.

You need the following information:

  • Authors (incl. e-mail addresses of all authors and affiliates)
  • Titles of the individual contributions
  • Abstracts of the individual contributions (maximum of 200 words each)

Extended Talk

About 45 minutes (including discussion) // Content: Well-founded and pointed presentation of the own scientific position on a topic // Length of the abstract: up to 200 words.

Preconference Workshop

We would like to enrich the conference with a small, selected number of workshops on current topics. These workshops will take place before the official start of the conference, i.e., on Monday, Sep 16, 2019, from 9 am to 12 pm. Please use this type of contribution if you would like to offer such a workshop and describe your workshop idea sufficiently (750 words). Workshop submissions are subject to review and selection by the conference committee. Preconference workshops can be registered in addition to a regular contribution (extended talk, symposium, talk, poster).
